In 1998 she completed her equivalency in Music Therapy at Duquesne University. After finishing her internship at University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio, she began a full-time position as music therapist at Keystone Hospice in Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania. She has worked in the Philadelphia area part-time at both Settlement Music School and Kardon Institute of Arts. The populations she served
included a diverse population both in age and diagnoses: 8-65 years
old; diagnosed with developmental delays, Down's Syndrome, chronic
mental illness, ADHD, and depression. In 2005, she completed her MA in
Creative Arts in Therapy from Drexel University. She was honored to
receive a Music Therapy Award "in recognition of excellence in music
therapy research" for her thesis entitled: A Survey of Music
Therapists in the Use of Music Therapy for Populations with Religious
Restrictions for Secular Uses of Music. Internship: July - Dec 98
